As the last surviving member of ’60s legends Small Faces, Kenney Jones has become the custodian of their far-reaching legacy. And he’s been doing a bang-up job, with his own newly formed Nice Records putting out high-quality reissues of Ogden’s Nut Gone Flake and The Autumn Stone.
Next up is an 8×7″ boxset of the band’s Immediate Singles 1967-69, limited to 500 copies. There’s also a limited edition reissue of the band’s eponymous 1967 debut LP – cut from the original masters – as part of Fontana’s The Thousand Club series. You can pre-order both here.
Jones wasn’t just a Small Face, of course. He was an ever-present for the Faces, before replacing Keith Moon in The Who. He’s also played with everyone from the Stones to Chuck Berry, Art Garfunkel to Wings.
