More new music from Deafheaven could be arriving soon, according to vocalist George Clarke.
The blackgaze heroes performed a gorgeous set at Outbreak London yesterday (August 23), and when introducing final song Winona, George said the band would soon be back with new music in some form.
Of course, it being at this early stage, we don’t yet know what form this music could take. Their last album, Lonely People With Power, only came out in March 2025, and if it ends up being a new album, they’re getting new music out with a quicker turnaround than normal. Lonely People With Power arrived three-and-a-half years after previous album Infinite Granite, and that came three years after 2018 opus Ordinary Corrupt Human Love.
If they’ve been feeling creative lately though, who are we to complain?
