Vale! ULB bring Brazilian funk, Latin pop, Cuban percussion, hip-hop soul, and New Orleans bounce together on new single Devórame, released via Buena Onda Musica.

Built from Deezle’s Brazilian funk-inspired beat, the track combines Val’s melodies with live Cuban percussion from Anier and additional production from Mr. Sonic. Val explains:

Devórame means to devour me. It’s a song that expresses freedom, sensuality and creates an atmosphere to feel wanted and desired.

The multicultural collective also features Grammy-winning trumpeter Emiliano and guitarist Friki, son of Buena Vista Social Club founder Juan de Marcos González.

Their self-described “Cabana Bounce” sound is built around live musicianship, electronic production, and rhythms drawn from across Latin America and the US.

Previous Vale! ULB releases have reached the UK Music Week Commercial Pop and Upfront Top 10, the Independent Airplay Chart Top 10, and international iTunes charts across Europe and beyond.

With Devórame, the group keep the formula direct: heavy percussion, immediate hooks, and enough cross-border club energy to make genre labels tap out.
