Lili Caseley returned to The Pheasantry on October 26 with a set that moved between soulful pop, emotional honesty and the playful energy that has become part of her appeal. Headlining FENIX360’s London showcase in the intimate Chelsea venue, the Camden singer-songwriter offered an evening built around her own songs, her connection with the musicians onstage and a newly released single that gave the night a particularly personal note.

Caseley opened with “One Shot” and “Heart Sings” before taking a moment to introduce herself and Jonny. She followed with a cover of “Lose Control,” bringing another dimension to a set otherwise centered on her own material. Between songs, she chatted and introduced her band, giving the musicians their own moment in the spotlight.

“Play Me Like a Piano” led into “I Cry Again,” released just three days before the show. A song about the way a memory can reopen feelings we thought were behind us, it brought a more vulnerable mood to the evening. In a room as close and intimate as The Pheasantry, its themes of heartbreak and lingering emotion felt especially at home.

“Kiss Me” continued the journey through Caseley’s catalogue before she returned for an encore of “Badoom,” the streaming favourite that gave the set an upbeat final chapter. Across the evening, her songwriting traced the excitement, uncertainty and heartache of relationships, while her mix of soul and contemporary pop gave the performance its character.

For Caseley, an official FENIX360 Ambassador, the show marked a return to a venue where she had previously appeared as part of a London showcase—this time as the headliner. It was a fitting setting for an artist whose songs invite listeners into the stories behind them, and for a platform committed to giving independent musicians opportunities to be heard.
