Ryder closes the chapter on his ambitious RYDERHOOD trilogy with the release of RYDERHOOD 3, the six-track EP is the final instalment and sees the Hull born, London based producer shift away from the introspective, genre blurring sound of earlier releases in favour of something more immediate: music built for the dancefloor and shared experiences.

Packed with collaborators including Dré Six, J’Calm, Bandanna, Tai Funds, Ciel, N4T and starboylikemk, RYDERHOOD 3 reflects Ryder’s growing focus on community as much as collaboration. Rather than assembling features for the sake of it, each artist plays a role in shaping the world he’s built across the trilogy.

Highlights include the infectious dancehall infused single “Nicotine” with J’Calm, the hard hitting “Left Side” featuring rising underground names Ciel and N4T, and the reunion with longtime collaborator Dré Six on opener “ICU“. Together, the six tracks capture Ryder’s most energetic and party driven project to date.

Speaking on the release, Ryder says the goal was simple: create music that people can enjoy together. That philosophy extends beyond the EP itself, with the producer revealing he’ll now turn his attention towards DJing, live nights and building the wider RYDERHOOD community before returning with more music.

Still only 21, Ryder has quickly established himself as one of the UK’s most exciting young producers, drawing on influences ranging from J Dilla to Kanye while carving out a sound that refuses to sit comfortably in one genre. With support from Clash, NME, Complex, The Face and BBC Radio already behind him, RYDERHOOD 3 feels like both the conclusion of one era and the beginning of the next.
