There’s something refreshing about an artist who doesn’t overcomplicate emotion. OnWish We Had More Time, Osas embraces the simple but universal truth that our best memories often feel far too short. Across six tracks, he blends Afro-R&B with contemporary R&B to explore love, connection and appreciating the people who make life feel a little brighter.

The EP is warm, reflective and confident. Rather than chasing chart ready hooks, Osas lets the music breathe, creating an intimate listening experience that feels honest from start to finish.

Opening track“Few Hours”immediately sets the tone, capturing that feeling of losing track of time with someone you never want to leave. It’s subtle but effective, with smooth production allowing Osas’ vocals to do the heavy lifting.

“Take It Easy”shifts the mood with an easy going groove and a gentle reminder to slow down, stop overthinking and enjoy the present. It’s effortlessly smooth while still carrying emotional depth.

The emotional heart of the EP is“ODO.”Built around vulnerability rather than grand gestures, it feels like a heartfelt love letter. The understated production complements Osas’ vocals perfectly, making it clear why this was chosen as the focus track.

“Sun Rises”, featuring Whoisbeckah?, brings a welcome change of pace. The chemistry between the two artists feels natural, adding another layer to the story while injecting a sense of optimism into the project.

For me,“Feels Like Home (Away)”is the standout. It beautifully explores the idea that home isn’t always a place but a person, making it one of the EP’s most relatable and emotionally resonant moments.

Closing track“Waterfall”rounds everything off with quiet reflection. Instead of building to a dramatic finale, Osas opts for restraint, leaving you with exactly the feeling the title promises, you simply wish there had been more time.

What makesWish We Had More Timestand out isn’t just its polished production or smooth blend of Afro-R&B and contemporary R&B, but its sincerity. Every track adds to a story about love, growing up and how quickly life moves. It’s an EP that rewards repeat listens, leaving you reflecting on your own relationships and reminding you that sometimes the most meaningful thing we can do is simply be present.
