A band renowned for the power of their performances, Rose’s Pawn Shop, described by some as the hottest roots music show to come out of Los Angeles, has just announced a UK summer tour which starts tonight in Bristol. They’ve been turning America on for two decades with their infectious brand of go-get-’em energy, which Rolling Stone magazine labelled “a blast of 21st-century pickin’-party music.”

Already set in place as one of the main visiting attractions for this year’s Maverick Festival, they’ve now confirmed a string of UK dates as well, with a total of five albums in their pocket spanning a broad palette of influences that blend bluegrass and trad fiddle with rock ‘n’ roll, roots of country, and a healthy shake of modern fizz and crackle.

The band is ostensibly promoting their latest album, American Seams, which, explains Paul Givant, is “a bit of a throwback to our earlier work. We’re getting back into the roots of folk, bluegrass, and country, without forgetting our rock influences. It’s a fusion of the different places we’ve been, and it sounds like our live shows. Our music is a patchwork of American styles. We have country, rock, bluegrass, and folk – all sorts of American musical influences, and they all go into the Rose’s Pawn Shop sound.”

Rose’s Pawn Shop 2026 UK tour schedule:

June 30: Hen and Chicken, Bristol
    July 1: Green Note, Camden
July 2: Fishery Wharf Café, Hemel Hempstead
    July 3 & 4: Maverick Festival, Suffolk
July 5: Town Hall Live, Kirton In Lindsey
July 6: The Voodoo Rooms, Edinburgh
    July 7: Artisan Tap, Stoke-On-Trent
    July 8: The Brunswick, Brighton
