The Rasmus have announced ahuge European and UK headline tour for 2027, continuing the momentum behind their latest album ‘Weirdo’ after what’s already been a massive couple of years for the Finnish rock veterans.

The 23-date run will see the band bringing both new material and fan favourites across Europe, with UK dates featuring support from Skarlett Riot.

Following a hugely successful 2025 and an already packed 2026 schedule, the tour marks anothermajor chapter for a band that have spent decades balancing arena-ready hooks with darker, emotionally heavy songwriting. According to frontman Lauri Ylönen, the response to ‘Weirdo’ has gone far beyond just the music itself.

‘Weirdo’ has resonated deeply with our fans,” Ylönen said. “It’s about being accepted the way you are. At the live shows people have been dressing up to show their inner weirdos, and it’s created this really fun and unifying atmosphere.”He added: “We can’t wait to see all our friends we missed the last time we toured Europe.”

The band’s recent touring schedule has been relentless. Last summer, The Rasmus performed a charity show in Kyiv as part of Atlas Festival, becoming the only international act on the bill. More than 110,000 people attended the event, which raised over $2.5 million for Ukraine’s air defence systems.

Currently touring across the United States, the band are also set for another busy European festival season this year, with appearances lined up at Nova Rock Festival, Resurrection Fest and Masters of Rock before heading out on a major South American tour later in 2026.

The announcement also arrives alongside continued momentum for current single ‘Break These Chains’, featuring Niko Vilhelm from Blind Channel. The track dives into toxic relationships and emotional obsession, combining massive choruses with the darker atmosphere that’s defined much of The Rasmus’ catalogue. Speaking on the song, Ylönen explained: ‘Break These Chains’ is about letting go of something you know is bad for you, but you’re still obsessed with.”

More than two decades into their career, The Rasmus still sound like a band refusing to settle into nostalgia alone — instead pushing forward while dragging an entire generation of fans with them.
