Chilean underground veterans Necrobeast have officially unleashed their debut full-length album, Iron Baphomet. Released today, 25th May 2026, the eight-track collection serves as a definitive manifestation of the band’s well-honed blackened thrash metal formula, driving the genre back to its raw, old-school origins.

Emerging twenty years ago from Valdivia in the deep south of Chile, the group has spent two decades refining a sound heavily inspired by the classic underground thrash metal scenes of South America, Germany, and Japan. Having previously built a loyal following across the extreme metal underground with a string of split records and demos, the band steps fully out of the shadows with Iron Baphomet. The record balances rigorous, lightning-fast riffs and violent rhythmic tempos with raspy, blackened vocals that spit out lyrical themes exploring the endless void of hell, cosmological patterns, and the deeper darkness of the human soul.

Recorded in Uppsala, Sweden, the album deliberately captures a raw, gritty, and unearthly energy, prioritizing a loose, visceral atmosphere over the polished perfection of modern studio productions. This relentless approach proudly waves the flag for unfiltered extremity, offering instant appeal for fans of foundational acts like Bathory, Sodom, and Sarcófago. It’s a dark, extreme metal aesthetic that shares a stylistic kinship with the noisy, abrasive black metal performance styles we recently witnessed from Norway’s Witch Club Satan on tour.

Iron Baphomet is officially out now and available for streaming on Spotify and via various physical underground distribution channels.

    Iron Baphomet Tracklist:

    1. In Communion with Satan
    2. Promethean Flame
    3. Iron Baphomet
    4. Blood Gods
    5. The Awakening of the NecroBeast
    6. Emissary of Death
    7. From Hell
    8. Jakten
