The Horror Section has announced a nationwide theatrical release for Stiletto, a new slasher feature led by actress and producer Gigi Gustin. The film is scheduled to open in theaters across the United States on October 30, 2026, positioning its release for this Halloween’s moviegoing season.

Gustin co-wrote the screenplay with director Samuel Gonzalez Jr., whose previous credits include The Plastic Men and The Retaliators. In addition to starring in the film, Gustin also serves as a producer alongside filmmaker Eli Roth.

Developed and financed independently by Gustin, Stiletto draws inspiration from the actor’s previous career as an exotic dancer. She has described the film as reflecting experiences and perspectives gathered during that period of her life, using the slasher genre as a vehicle to explore fear, vulnerability, and survival on screen.

The story follows the aftermath of a dancer’s murder one year earlier. As the anniversary approaches, a serial killer begins targeting performers, collecting high heels from victims as part of a growing and disturbing trophy collection.

Roth praised the project’s approach to the slasher genre, highlighting the filmmakers’ use of real-world experiences as inspiration for the story. He also pointed to Gustin’s dual role as performer and producer, as well as Gonzalez Jr.’s direction, as key creative forces behind the production.

For Gonzalez Jr., Stiletto was designed with the theatrical experience in mind. The director described the film as a stylized horror feature centered on atmosphere, obsession, and suspense, emphasizing the communal nature of horror screenings and audience engagement.

The cast also includes Charlotte McKinney (Fantasy Island, Baywatch), Colleen Camp (Clue, Euphoria), Meghan Carrasquillo (Lookout, Four.), Stephen Blackehart (Superman, Guardians of the Galaxy), Hannah Hueston (The Anacondas), and Pancho Moler (31, 3 From Hell).

Founded in 2025 by Eli Roth, The Horror Section focuses on horror-centric film, TV, gaming, podcasting, and live entertainment properties. The company is expanding its slate of genre projects, with Ice Cream Man scheduled for a theatrical release on more than 2,000 screens on August 7, 2026. Another upcoming title, Don’t Go In That House, Bitch!, features Snoop Dogg as a producer and contributor to the film’s original soundtrack.

Additional details regarding Stiletto‘s theatrical rollout are expected closer to its October release date.
