Bambie Thug has pulled out of performing at Bludfest in the Czech Republic next weekend, adding that they’ll be taking a break from performing for their health.

YUNGBLUD’s annual festival is going abroad for the first time this year after spending its first two years at the Milton Keynes Bowl. As ever, the man himself will be performing, alongside a line-up that this year includes Biffy Clyro, Primal Scream, Palaye Royale, Destroy Lonely, LEAP, Pale Waves, Jesse Jo Stark, Nieve Ella and Pam Rabbit. All the action is taking place at Hradec Králové near Prague.

However, Bambie has now said they won’t be making it over in a statement posted to Instagram.

“To my gorgeous fans who have been waiting so patiently for me to perform again and who are coming to see me at Bludfest, I am sorry to inform you that under advice from my management, I won’t be able to take part in this year’s festival,” they write.

“I am so grateful to Yungblud for the opportunity. I really tried to make it work but unfortunately I won’t be taking to the stage for the foreseeable.

“I have to prioritise my mental and physical health at this time.

“Please hold tight, I promise when I return to performing it will be worth the wait.

“Have the best time at the festival. Stay safe, stay kind x”

The entire Kerrang! team sends our love and well wishes to Bambie at this time.
