HomeTracksSomething for the weekend: Clem Snide “Where Have You Gone”

Well that’s it from us for this week and we can’t let today pass without acknowledging the massive sense of relief after last night. Maybe the Reform guy is a better plumber than politician, although you better hope all your connecting pipes are white. Anyway we have maybe a few weeks at best of that hopey-changey thing before everything turns to shit again so enjoy it while it lasts. We leave you in the meantime dear reader with a new song by a band we’ve long loved around these parts, Clem Snide aka Eef Barzelay whose music has popped up in all kinds of strange places over the years including the televison series Nashville and one bit of the second to last series of The Handmaid’s Tale– in a nice bit when June wasn’t in some awful trouble for once. The song is taken from the new mini-album Turpentine Rags – Eef said of the record on Instagram: “Over the last couple years I’ve been collaborating with Bob on his songs. If you don’t know who Bob Havlena is, well take a listen and find out.”

Take care, don’t forget Palestine and keep fighting those fascists. See you next week.
