King Yanz Levels Up with Smooth New Single ‘Dangerous’.

Finnish-Congolese rapper King Yanz is back, and this time he is turning the heat up. Following the momentum of his previous release No Favours, his latest single Dangerous leans into a warmer, more melodic R&B sound while still holding onto the edge of his hip hop roots.

Built on crisp percussion, a grooving bassline, and flashes of raw electric guitar, Dangerous feels both polished and instinctive. Yanz experiments more boldly with melody here, layering harmonies over his signature rap delivery to create something that is equal parts smooth and striking.

Lyrically, the track plays with temptation, the pull of a bad decision you know might cost you. It is flirtatious, a little reckless, and carried with the kind of understated charisma Yanz does best.

The single lands ahead of a big run of live dates, including a headline show in Barcelona and a slot at Tallinn Music Week, further proof of his growing presence across Europe.

Dangerous is also the second glimpse into his upcoming album Jeppisboy, a project that promises to blend nostalgic 2000s urban influences with a fresh, contemporary rap sensibility. Rooted in his cross cultural upbringing between Finland and the UK, Yanz continues to carve out a space that feels both personal and globally resonant.

With live instrumentation, genre blurring sounds, and a clear artistic identity, King Yanz is not just rising, he is refining his lane.
