Singer-songwriter Brittney Jenkins – aka Pisgah – with the bold new single, “Delphinus and Dippers”. We have previously had her on our website before, and for good reason too. Her music is incredible and cinematic and can easily grip me with every second that goes by.
… asizzling, cinematic alt-rock gem weaving Cigarettes After Sex-style moodiness with sweet vocals, shimmering guitars, and a breathtaking outro.
The new track has a delightful intro that lasts for 40 seconds before her wonderful vocals come rolling in, almost like Cigarettes After Sex and Beach House, but with even sweeter vocals behind it.
This is a sizzling, emotive alternative rock gem, and the London-based artist honestly knows no bounds. This sounds like it has been written to close music festivals on a Sunday, with the rain coming down and the mood high, with plenty of people admiring her on stage.
One thing I personally loved was the delicate balance of the moody vocal tones and the shimmering guitars. It’s almost like the day and the night. One thing I would say is be sure to stick around for the long haul as the outro is sizzling, cinematic, and will have you heading into her Spotify page to line up plenty more tracks. This is a fantastic gateway song into her sound and to an artist who is certainly on the rise.
