Bursting out of the English music scene is Fever Dream Kills, and the band have recently dropped their fourth single, “Gone by Sunrise”. These efforts have got them over 60,000 Spotify streams. This song is a very bold track with a charming entrance of jangly and upbeat guitar tones that are shortly followed by some captivating vocals.

All anchored in with some strong female tones, the track steadily builds up before bursting into a very acoustically led chorus with plenty of soaring backing vocals that sound almost like a gospel choir in places. The track does a fantastic job at blending contemporary indie pop sensibilities with a bit of that indie rock edge that a lot of people are loving these days.
With support from the likes of BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Introducing, this band is here and they clearly mean business. Even though their first single came out early in the year in January, they have really got themselves somewhat of a name as a band who release nothing but quality.
I personally loved the latter half of the song, where the guitar tones reminded me of that late 2000s indie-rock scene, of which I’m a sucker for, and I’m also a big sucker for this song. Go and stick it on as soon as you can.
