Washington, DC-based artist Joe Caruso is back with his delightfully addictive track, “Waiting on the Wind.” The new single from Joe is his fifth of the year, and it starts off with a charming guitar sound before some organic percussion comes in to warm things up.

As soon as his vocals hit your ears, you know that you’ll be sticking around for the long haul on this one, with the song seemingly getting better as every second goes by. There are some tremendous moments within the song, with some sliding guitars in the background later on giving you this subtle Americana vibe hidden amongst the acoustic rock-pop tones.
I did appreciate the finger-picking guitars on this as well, with a slight Latino vibe, which struck a chord with me. It’s certainly no more unique than other tracks within this genre, and with a back catalogue that has tens of thousands of plays, I’m sure that Joe is only getting started with his raw and beautiful music.
