A remarkable collection of over 300 rare and historic pieces of music memorabilia assembled over more than five decades by renowned music industry veteran Lindsay Brown will be offered for sale at Omega Auctions in Merseyside on 15th September 2026. Omega Auctions is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading auction houses for music memorabilia and vinyl records.
Brown’s music industry career began in 1969 as Social Secretary at Ewell Tech, promoting concerts by artists including Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Caravan, Taste, Genesis, Nick Drake and Atomic Rooster. He went on to hold senior positions at Red Bus, MAM, Rock Exchange, Polydor and Eagle Rock Entertainment, where, as Managing Director, he signed The Rolling Stones for visual rights. During his career he worked with artists including the New York Dolls, The Sweet, Kate Bush, Elvis Costello, Barclay James Harvest, Dr Feelgood, 10cc, The Only Ones, The Cure, Van Morrison, Björk, Alice Cooper, Queen, Jeff Beck, Simple Minds & many more.
Among the auction treasures are two highly important framed posters expected to attract strong international interest. The first is an extremely rare Atomic Rooster, Genesis & Nick Drake poster from a Ewell Technical College concert held on 24th January 1970, expected to achieve in excess of £5,000. Posters featuring Nick Drake are exceptionally scarce due to his well-known aversion to live performance, and it is believed this may be the first example ever to come to the open market. The second is a striking red-and-gold framed poster by respected artist David Arnott for a Black Sabbath performance supporting Caravan – expected to sell for more than £1,000.
Collectors will also have the opportunity to bid on a rare large black-and-gold poster measuring approximately 3ft x 2ft for the New York Dolls first-ever UK performance – a landmark event attended by many future British punk pioneers, (Big Biba Rainbow Room, London, November 1973), valued at over £1,000.

• Kate Bush UK tour poster, Munich concert poster, tour jackets, promoter’s tour jackets, tour merchandise, backstage passes from her 1979 tour (often referred to as the ‘Lionheart Tour’) and other items, including a stunning signed poster for Before the Dawn (Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, London, 2014), housed in an exclusive bespoke frame, incorporating an original prop from the stage set. To be sold as multiple lots priced from £50 to £3,000 +.
• A 1969 flyer for performances including Led Zeppelin at The Toby Jug Blues Club in Tolworth, Surrey, featuring an early misspelling of the band’s name, valued at over £500.
• A small poster advertising the final public concert of Nick Drake‘s career (Ewell Technical College, 25th June 1970), valued at £2000+.
• 1960s autographs from members of The Rolling Stones, including Brian Jones, valued at over £800.
• Fender Telecaster, signed by Keith Richards, expected to achieve over £1,000.
• The Rolling Stones -multi release certified Gold in Canada gold disc (Eagle Rock Entertainment), priced £500+.
• The Beatles authenticated autographs contained within an autograph book (accompanied by Bonhams auction documentation), expected to fetch over £3,000.
• Woodstock ticket (1969).
• Queen – Hyde Park September 18th, 1976 – autographs, framed show flyer, map of the band’s route (previously owned by their driver), purchased at Bonhams, includes letter of authenticity, valued at over £3,000.
• A framed flyer for The Doors 1968 appearance at London’s Roundhouse, £400+.
• A framed 1968 poster advertising a performance by The Yardbirds at Ewell Technical College. The band has broken up by that stage – and this would instead feature a very early performance by Led Zeppelin, performing to only 150 people. Expected to achieve over £2,000.
• Deep Purple framed poster, artwork by David Arnott (Ewell Technical College, 18th April, 1970) & accompanying ticket.

The auction will take place at Omega Auctions, Merseyside, on 15th September and is expected to attract interest from collectors and music enthusiasts worldwide.
