Bringing together two generations of Atlanta rap, “Backwards” sees Quavo and T.I. trade verses over a track inspired by the city’s nightlife. Its Supo Supreme directed visual pushes the concept further with surreal choreography, reversed sequences and the pair performing against a huge Atlanta inspired flag, paying homage to their city’s hip hop legacy.
QRÖMELIFE finds Quavo reflecting on experience, perseverance and personal evolution, with Pharrell overseeing the project as executive producer. Previous tastes of the record have already taken Quavo into very different spaces, with “HAAVIN” soundtracking the opening of Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2027 Men’s Show in Paris and “Trance” building further anticipation online.
