Omaha, United States artist BADSQUATCH delivers pure adrenaline on “Move”. The upbeat and groovy cut was an instant hit with me from the very first play, and even within the first 20 seconds, I knew I’d be sticking around for the full duration. It hit that hard.

… ahigh-energy, synth-soaked groove built for instant movement and repeat listens.

BADSQUATCH drops the upbeat new cut, Move

It’s one of those quirky, synth-filled cuts with a delicious indie rock bassline that just wobbles its way into the back of your mind. It is rather disco in places, with that aforementioned groove. It has a sun-kissed 80s and early 90s sheen about it, too. I honestly cannot really fathom a genre I can put this in that it would feel comfortable in, apart from just pure upbeat nostalgia.

Speaking about the track, they said it was inspired by classic workout anthems, so that may explain why this song is so infectious, upbeat, and has such replay value. If you want an offering from an artist you’ve not heard of before that is just going to scream at you to move your body, bop along, and is perfect for your Friday, then this is that kind of song. Listen to “Move” as soon as you are done here.
