Based out of Los Angeles, United States, 4fro Nick delivers a compelling two-track EP that blends alternative rock, indie rock, psychedelic rock, and modern pop with remarkable authenticity.

…4fro Nick delivers a quirky, psychedelic indie rock EP blending glitchy electronics, vivid songwriting, and laid-back LA vibes.

4fro Nick delivers his compelling two-track EP

“Don’t Waste My Time (LA mix)” stands out as the lead track from the two-piece release with its quirky intro and expressive vocals. There is a delicious amount of electronics flowing throughout the song, with a tight drumbeat all bringing it together, with a guitar line offering new listeners something to really get their teeth into.

Even though this song is 2:43, it feels like you are listening to it for a long time, as it is not a high-tempo, fast-paced offering. It’s more of a laid-back psychedelic cut that has the hallmarks of being picked up by the thousands.

“Get There Before Noon (LA2 mix)” is a bit more on the relaxing side compared to the initial track on this release, and the intro alone suggests that this could be a little more left field, with some glitchy synthesiser sounds, reminding me personally of those mid-90s computer games.

It’s got vivid lyrics with an energetic underpinning which can be heard throughout the track. I especially liked the weird and quirky guitar solos dotted throughout the song. There is quite a dark and psychedelic feel about this track too.

If you’re looking for some quirky, left-field, psychedelic-tinted music, then be sure to check out 4fro Nick!
