Prime Video has unveiled the trailer for The Devil’s Mouth, a new survival shocker from director Jeff Wadlow (Imaginary, Fantasy Island), working from a screenplay by Aja Gabel and Myung Joh Wesner, and fronted by a young ensemble cast including Kathryn Newton, Lana Condor, Nico Hiraga, Gavin Casalegno and Tommi Rose.

The setup is disarmingly simple: five friends, one last shared adventure before adulthood properly intrudes, and a guided excursion along Thailand’s coastal cave systems that promises equal measures of beauty and peril. What they find instead is a descent into one of those spaces where nature seems to have no interest in human optimism. A disturbance within the cave network alters the environment, leaving the group isolated in an increasingly constricted maze of submerged passages where orientation becomes guesswork and confidence quickly evaporates.

From there, the premise tightens into familiar but effective survival-thriller territory: pressure, panic, and the gradual erosion of trust as the group fractures under strain. Wadlow leans into the claustrophobia of the setting, using the flooded cave system as both arena and antagonist, while the narrative pushes the characters towards a fight for survival against an unseen threat lurking amidst the waterlogged darkness.

We’ll leave you with the trailer, offering a taste of the escalating tension and environmental dread awaiting audiences when The Devil’s Mouth premieres globally on Prime Video on 29 July 2026.
