London artist Ryderhood has unveiled “Nicotine”, the latest single from his upcoming project RYDERHOOD 3 and the final chapter in a trilogy that has showcased his evolving sound over the past year.

Created alongside Jamaican singer songwriter J’Calm, the track blends smooth R&B melodies with the rhythmic pulse of contemporary dancehall. Anchored by an eccentric bassline and infectious groove, “Nicotine” explores the feeling of being consumed by someone in the same way an addiction takes hold.

For Ryderhood, the collaboration was a natural fit. What began as a simple bassline and drum idea gradually developed into a genre crossing track that balances vulnerability with energy, drawing on both artists’ distinct musical backgrounds.

J’Calm, whose sound merges dancehall, R&B and pop influences, brings a fresh dynamic to the record, adding depth to a song that feels equally suited to late night listening and packed dancefloors.

The release follows Ryderhood’s recent single “ICU” and builds anticipation for RYDERHOOD 3, due in June 2026. The project promises another showcase of the artist’s boundary pushing approach, bringing together collaborators from across London’s diverse music scene and beyond.

With “Nicotine”, Ryderhood continues to blur genre lines while refining a sound that is becoming unmistakably his own.
