Winona Fighter have shared a feisty new single, Bombs Away.
Following last year’s brilliant debut album My Apologies To The Chef, and a deluxe edition featuring covers of Beastie Boys‘ Sabotage and Violent Femmes’ Blister In The Sun the Nashville punk trio have returned with new music. This time around, they’re getting faster and heavier – and perhaps a touch political.
Speaking on the meaning of the song, the band kept their message short and simple: “Everybody needs a song right now.”
