Copenhagen’s Siri Neel has recently delivered her second single of the year, following on from the January release titled “I Think I Said Something”.
…an infectious, art-pop gem bursting with vibrant Scandinavian flair!
“West Street” is the new track, and right from the get-go, you’re greeted with a bouncy guitar line and a tight drumbeat, mixed with thick basslines. Her vocals are very pop-infused, and the whole track has this underlying art pop quirkiness about it, giving it somewhat of a British feel despite her being based in Copenhagen.
The track is only her second since her debut album came out back in 2024, but the way that this landed on my ears from the first play was tremendous. It’s very pop-driven and has a fantastic beat to it, giving it plenty of opportunities for you to be tapping along to it.
Its glorious pop sheen really comes to life in the final third, and as the track heads into its last minute, you’re greeted with shimmering tones that will have you wanting to check out her previous material.l.
